Saturday Night Mass Daylight Savings Time begins March 11th, which means Saturday evening Mass will return to 5:30pm beginning Saturday, March 17th.

Holy Week Liturgies Please mark your calendars with these special Holy Week liturgies:

Holy Thursday Mass—Thursday, March 29 at 7pm

Good Friday Veneration of the Cross—Friday, March 30 at 7pm

Easter Vigil—Saturday, March 31 at 8pm

Easter Sunday Mass—Sunday, April 1 at 8:30am

Adoration on Holy Thursday Immediately following Mass on Holy Thursday (March 29), there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. All are requested to do some penance for 30 minutes or more in silent prayer at the Altar of Repose. It will be closed at 10pm. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.

Fish Fry—Friday, March 23rd, 5-7pm Sponsored by Knights of Columbus. All you can Eat-In or 2 full filet Take-Out, Adult through 8 years old—$9 at the door, Children (7 years and under) – free. Delicious Fried Flounder, chicken nuggets for children, Homemade Cole Slaw, Sweet Corn Bread, Fries, and Dessert. 50/50 drawing. No advance ticket sales. Proceeds to benefit local charities. VIRTUS A VIRTUS training session will be held at Transfiguration on March 24 from 9am to noon.  This training is required for any individuals over the age of 18 that volunteer with our children.

Tax Aide The Roanoke Valley AARP is sponsoring free tax federal and state tax preparation again this year.  TaxAide will be at Transfiguration on March 13 and 27 and April 10.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 540-520-4668.  Please do not call the parish office—we are not able to schedule appointments for you!


Blood Drive at Transfiguration  March 31 ~ 9am to 1pm in the social hall.  Please come and donate!  Appointments are good, but not necessary.
